Drinking Water
01
Networking
Establishment of a scheduled sampling service determined by the municipality’s Self-Control Plan with determination of the analytical parameters and their disposition, in real time, as well as the issuance of the appropriate report once all the parameters of an analysis have been determined.
02
Consumer tap
Drinking water must comply with RD 140/2003 at the point where it comes out of the consumer’s taps, not only at certain points in the distribution network.
The quality of the water is altered by its passage through the private interior networks, being responsible for its maintenance.
03
Legionellosis
Legionella bacteria are found in all types of water installations. According to current regulations, the temperature of the storage elements must be recorded daily, since this is the parameter that the risk factor indicates in the conditions of use of the ACS facilities.
The installation of IoT devices to measure the temperature parameter has allowed us to monitor in real time through an intelligent platform and generate preventive alarms.
04
Tank cleaning
To comply with RD 140/2003, it is necessary to periodically clean and disinfect municipal drinking water tanks, in order to keep them in adequate hygienic conditions.
05
Chlorination
The most common purification in populations supplied through catchments is carried out by adding sodium hypochlorite and, to a lesser extent, chlorine gas to raw water, to proceed with its bacteriological disinfection.
RD 140/2003 establishes the requirements for minimum and maximum free chlorine values in order to guarantee adequate disinfection.
06
Monitoring
Centralized and real-time management and operation of water quality in terms of free chlorine levels in the network and specific parameters depending on the
problem of each supply (pH, turbidity, nitrates, etc …).
